Designer Feature: Manning Cartell

Since spotting spotting their designs on the sunny catwalks of Australian fashion week, we here at Hothouse have been obsessed with Manning Cartell. A designer brand created and run by the talented Manning sisters (Cheryl, Vanessa and Gabrielle) in 2005 which has in recent years cemented itself in both the Australian fashion market and international fashion markets alike.

A brand with a cool aesthetic and a focus on quality ethical craftsmanship, Manning Cartell is known for its use of innovative fabrics and acute attention to detail. There latest collection for MBFWA 2016 focuses on a utility X femininity style which came to life in the form of cropped khaki trousers, bold yellow sequined maxi dresses, over-sized suit jackets, relaxed tailoring in feminine fabrics and stunning slip dresses.

So in love with the brand we have spent much of the past week trying to figure out how to get our hands on one of there master pieces. While their Australian fashion week designs wont be on sale for some time yet there are still some gorgeous pieces available online or you can check out there flagship stores in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth.
